This is a test for Search for Secrets of A Sunken Cannon. What ever happened to the ancient relic? Well, it's been missing for 121 years and no clue have surfaced due to
Cannonsburg ultimate secret society. All photographs and paper documentation was destroyed upon the accidental death of Walter
Tompsett during a July 4
th picnic celebration. He bled to death before physician's could arrive to amputate his leg that hung by only a sliver of skin. Upon his
grisly death the cannon was secretly spirited out of
Cannonsburg and buried in another
secret location. Gone, but still in Cannon Township.
Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, yes. But why is the cannon so significant?
ReplyDeleteShaina - it's historical heritage is linked to the naming of Cannon Township. It went missing after the accident - a decision to get rid of it based upon the young man's death and decisions of those who saw the accident and not upon people of township as a whole. It was a shoot from the hip decision by the few and not the full impact of society at large.
ReplyDeleteI see :)
